Membership Terms

TCG membership is for cleaning businesses accepted under the Guild’s standards. Standard pricing is £19.99 monthly or £199 annually. Applicants select a future billing preference. Acceptance, verification and accreditation are separate states: membership never permits self-awarded Verified or Accredited status.

During the approved Founding Phase, qualifying accepted production members pay £0 membership fees until TCG first allocates qualifying position 500. No debt or retrospective fee accrues. The transition to Paid Phase is permanent even if the active count later falls. Member 500 receives 12 months’ free membership; billing then follows their retained monthly or annual choice. Members 1–499 receive advance notice before prospective charging begins. `[LEGAL REVIEW: provisional notice period 14 days.]`

Members must provide truthful business information, maintain mandatory/conditional evidence, respond to reasonable verification enquiries, comply with standards and stop representing themselves as current if status ends. TCG may place a member Under Review while facts are assessed. Suspension is separate and requires a proportionate decision; complaint severity alone does not automatically suspend.

Ordinary cancellation applies prospectively under the Cancellation Policy. Website Services customers additionally accept the approved 12-month paid membership commitment, which starts after Founding Phase or Member 500’s protected free year as applicable. Founding months are not retrospectively charged and do not consume that paid commitment.
